Senior Core Software Engineer

Position Summary
Join a rapidly growing e-Commerce Software Company as a Senior Team Leader and Technology leader at our company site in Herzeliya, Israel. Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Ability to travel 25 % of time
- Design and Implement algorithmic components in the search engine core modules.
- Responsible for leading and implementing software development processes using object oriented methodologies.
- Take ownership over architecture, design and implementation.
- Develop an optimize code for performance and robustness.
Education and Experience
- B. Sc in computer science/software engineering.
- 4 minimum years of experience
Required: Job Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Must be proficient in MS Outlook, Word, Excel, Power Point and the Internet.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills required.
- A professional appearance and telephone manner is essential.
- Must have good command of the English language, oral and written.
- Expert level knowledge in C, C++ and multi-threaded development.
- System approach and system architecture experience.
Preferred: Job Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Experience with search technologies and algorithms - an advantage
- Experience in compilers development - an advantage
