Shai Geva
Chief Scientist

Dr. Shai Geva has been a technological leader of the Mercado team from day one, driving the evolution of the technology and the products through successive generations, and throwing in some creative spark and innovation. As chief scientist, Shai is thrilled to be guiding work at the forefront of varied fields and disciplines, calling on expertise in information retrieval, natural language processing, system architecture, distributed computing, databases, knowledge management, human-computer interface, programming languages and tools, to name a few. Shai holds a B.Sc. in mathematics and computer science from Tel Aviv University, and M.Sc. and PhD degrees in computer science from Carnegie Mellon University.
