Mercado Software Expands Leadership Team
Randi Barshack joins as new VP of Worldwide Marketing
David Leibow named as VP of Worldwide Professional Services
PLEASANTON, CA, November 27, 2006 - Mercado Software, the leading provider of e-commerce search and merchandising solutions, is continuing its exploding growth worldwide with hiring of two new Vice Presidents, Randi Barshack and David Leibow.
Randi Barshack has been named as Vice President of Worldwide Marketing. Randi was most recently Director of Marketing, Intercontinental at Silicon Graphics where she oversaw all marketing activities for Latin America and Asia Pacific. Prior to SGI, she was a founder and VP of Marketing at TeaLeaf Technology where she built the marketing department from the ground up. In addition to her Marketing background, Randi has extensive experience in the Media Industry where she produced a variety of programs for Television, Film and Multimedia. She has a joint International MBA from Kellogg Graduate School of Management and Tel Aviv University and a BA from Dartmouth College

David Leibow has been named as VP of Worldwide Professional Services. In this role, David will be responsible for worldwide customer support, implementation and consulting services, as well as implementation partner training and certification. Most recently, David was responsible for Sales, Marketing, Support and Professional Services at MIR3, Inc. Before that David held the position of VP Professional Services, Solution Consulting and Alliance Support at Peregrine Systems. David also led WW Service Organizations at Inacom and AT&T Capital.
